Cake Project Brief

As everyone knows we love to dress up our minions and this is another example of how our customers like to have them personalised too. We worked with our customer to create this spooky vampire minion....ha ha ha ha!

How We Made The Cake

When the cakes are baked we crumb coat and cover the cake with bright, 'minion yellow' sugarpaste. It is then left to set. Any 3d objects are made ahead of time and allowed to dry so they maintain their shape when added to the cake. Our expert decorators will add all the finer details to bring these little guys to life, by creating clothing and facial details. For this cake that includes the fangs and the classic vampire cape! Finally the whole cake is assembled and boxed ready for collection.

Cake Ingredients

Our cake is a light, moist vanilla sponge, filled with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. We often coat our cakes in a layer of rich chocolate ganache for stability too!
