Simple Dinosaur Cake

Cake Project Brief

Our customer wanted us to design a simple cake with a dinosaur on it for a birthday. Not wanting a large 3D cake, we came up with the sweet design of a cartoon dinosaur to sit on top of the cake.

How We Made The Cake

Our cake was freshly baked in the shop and covered in a grassy green sugarpaste. Once it had set slightly we added our rocks and grassy areas and crafted the dinosaur directly onto the cake, making sure we gave him cute cartoon features. Finally we piped a birthday message on to the cake and the design was complete!

Cake Ingredients

This cake was baked using our vanilla cake recipe and filled with jam and buttercream
