The customer asked us to create something delicate and girly for her daughters birthday. We absolutely loved the idea of a ruffle cake so we couldn't wait to make it.

How We Made The Cake

To make our frills look a little more delicate than most we cut our layers individually and "frilled" each edge before attaching to the cake.

Cake Ingredients

The best of both worlds, a vanilla sponge filled with strawberry preserve and fluffy vanilla buttercream, and a dark and decadent chocolate fudge cake.
