Pastel Bunny 1st Birthday Cake

Cake Project Brief

We were asked to create an adorable cake for a one year old which included a sugar replica of her favourite bunny toy! The theme of this cake was therefore based around an adorable bunny model and trailing pastel flowers.

How We Made The Cake

All our modeling work is completed in advance to allow it to dry and maintain its shape. Our fantastic modelers build the bunny out of specialist paste and handcraft all his details to be as cute as possible. While the bunny is drying we will hand cut out and dry our flowers in special formers to give them a 3d look. To keep the cake as fresh as possible, we bake, cover and stack the cake last before it is decorated and the final details added.

Cake Ingredients

This cake was baked using our vanilla cake recipe filled with raspberry jam and buttercream
