Pampered Horse Cake

Cake Project Brief

When anyone wants a modelled horse it fills us with dread, they are the hardest thing to get right, so when we were asked to do a dressage horse we weren't looking forward to it. However when we heard that the birthday girl had a good sense of humour we decided to compromise and do something a little more fun.

How We Made The Cake

The horse and many elements on the cake were modelled by hand in advance, which meant when the cake was ready we were able to add all the extra decoration to the cake itself and then add the horse as the finishing touch.

Cake Ingredients

A light sponge made with raspberries and a white chocolate ganache filling.
