Biscuit Tin Cake

Cake Project Brief

Our customer loved her biscuits (and so do we!), therefore the cake made could only be a biscuit tin decorated with biscuits!

How We Made The Cake

We could have decorated the cake in real biscuits, but that's not what we are about here at Sweet Serenity! We ate the real biscuits and spent several hours crafting replicas out of sugar. We spent some time looking at the different biscuit shapes so that we could get them looking as close as we could. Our cake was then baked fresh in the shop and covered in blue sugarpaste. We also created the lid to the tin, so it could be perched at an angle on top of the cake and allow us to decorate it with our modelled biscuits!

Cake Ingredients

Our cake is a chocolate fudge sponge, filled with rich chocolate ganache
