3D Magician Minion Cake

Cake Project Brief

Our customer asked us to personalise a minion cake, and there is nothing more we like here than giving these cheeky guys a makeover! This minion was dressed to look like a magician and we sure think he looks the part don't you?

How We Made The Cake

When the cakes are baked we crumb coat and cover the cake with bright, 'minion yellow' sugarpaste. It is then left to set. Any 3d objects are made ahead of time and allowed to dry so they maintain their shape when added to the cake. Our expert decorators will add all the finer details to bring these little guys to life, by creating clothing and facial details. For this cake that includes the cute bunny in the hat and of course a magic wand too! Finally the whole cake is assembled and boxed ready for collection.
