Course Summary:

Learn how to make adorable cake toppers in our Introduction to Animal Modelling course designed for the beginner. Knowledge of cake decorating and previous skills are an advantage, however all students will go away with a good understanding of the skills and tools needed to create cute animal toppers.

During this class you will learn:

Our expert tutors will show how to model animal shapes by hand and the techniques used to refine their look. You will also learn:

  • How to make three separate animal designs
  • Pastes to use and how they work
  • Colouring paste
  • How to store, handle and use paste
  • How toppers are created including the drying process
  • Step by step modelling instructions
  • Assembly and use on cakes

Hint! You can use your toppers to decorate birthday cakes at home. Your toppers will keep for many years if packaged correctly!

Rules

  • We politely request that people DO NOT bring their own tools so we avoid any confusion.
  • You may wish to bring your own carry container.

  • All bookings are subject to availability. Sweet Serenity reserves the right to withdraw a product or package at any given time. In this case any outstanding bookings will be given the choice of an alternative product of equal or higher value or a full refund.
  • Your time and date is pre-booked. As the kitchen is reserved for a specific time, late arrival will result in a reduced class time.
  • If you fail to show up for your class without letting us know no refund or rescheduling will be applicable.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements on group courses.
